Meta-analysis reveals patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) and FGFR2 alterations have significantly better overall survival outcomes compared to those without. Results suggest FGFR2 alterations could serve as a promising therapeutic target for managing iCCA, especially in cases of metastatic or unresectable tumors. This study presents innovative insights into targeted therapy for iCCA, highlighting the potential benefits of FGFR2-targeted treatments in improving patient prognosis.
