Effectiveness and Safety of Sinus Laser Therapy for Pilonidal Disease

Study on 111 patients undergoing sinus laser therapy for pilonidal disease showed a healing rate of 78.4% with high patient satisfaction and minimal complications. No predictive factors for healing were identified. Results suggest sinus laser therapy is an efficient and safe treatment option, potentially warranting its incorporation into the therapeutic algorithm for pilonidal disease.
