Sleeve gastrectomy surgery led to a significant reduction in hyperuricemia prevalence, improving metabolic syndrome status in patients with obesity. After one year, there was a 46.75% decrease in hyperuricemia cases among females and a 44.44% decrease among males. Enhancements in anthropometric and laboratory measurements were observed, highlighting the clinical relevance of this surgical intervention in managing obesity-related conditions.
