Heart-shaped tension-reducing suture combined with lbd suturing technique led to improved scar quality in hypertrophic scar patients. Results showed reduction in scar width, significant enhancements in scar assessment scores, and higher levels of patient satisfaction postoperatively. This novel approach demonstrated better outcomes in color, stiffness, thickness, and overall scar opinion, highlighting its clinical efficacy and potential wider application in hypertrophic scar management. The study suggests that the amalgamation of these techniques offers a valuable strategy for enhancing surgical treatment effectiveness and patient recovery in hypertrophic scar repair.
