Banded Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Leads to Greater Weight Loss

Banded Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery results in a statistically significant increase in percent excess weight loss at 1, 2, and 5 years postoperatively compared to standard RYGB procedures.
