A systematic review assessed laparoscopic adrenalectomy (LA) for adrenal masses exceeding 5 cm, involving 963 patients across 25 studies. The mean tumor size was 7.05 cm, with the transperitoneal approach utilized for larger tumors averaging 12.10 cm. The average operative time was 137.4 minutes, with a minimal bleeding prevalence of 0.02%. Postoperative complications were rare, occurring in 0.03% to 0.4% of cases. Hospital stays averaged 3.72 days, indicating LA’s feasibility and safety for larger adrenal masses.
