A consensus-derived synoptic operative report for rectal prolapse surgery was developed through a Delphi process involving 176 surgeons worldwide. Out of 30 initial descriptors, 16 reached over 70% agreement, including key variables such as surgery type and mesh used. This accomplishment will standardize operative reporting, enhance clinical communication, and potentially improve quality measures in rectal prolapse surgery. This structured report may foster better clinical research and outcomes assessments.
