International consensus established guidelines for gallbladder cancer management

A Delphi consensus involving 45 experts from 17 countries reached recommendations on gallbladder cancer management, achieving consensus on 92.6% of 68 clinical questions. Key areas covered include definitions for radical resections, management strategies for early and advanced disease, and the categorization of borderline resectable cases. These guidelines promote uniform terminology and offer practical frameworks for clinicians globally, addressing significant variations in current practices. Future studies are necessary to clarify unresolved issues regarding advanced gallbladder cancer.
