HAIP therapy demonstrates comparable survival outcomes for liver tumors

A single-center experience with hepatic artery infusion pump therapy for unresectable colorectal liver metastases showed successful placement in most patients, with a complication rate of 37.5%. The median overall survival (OS) from diagnosis was 55.2 months, though concurrent primary tumor resection led to inferior OS outcomes. Furthermore, the median duration of HAIP therapy was 9.2 months, and progression-free survival post-placement averaged 7.8 months, aligning with existing literature on HAIP in conjunction with systemic therapies.
