Radiomics features may enhance survival prediction for PDAC patients

A study involving 131 non-surgical pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma patients revealed that radiomics features from baseline CT images could significantly predict overall survival. Out of 845 extracted features, 45 were notably different among survival tertiles. The developed radiomics score demonstrated significant differentiation (p = 0.034) and overall survival differences (p = 0.02). The predictive nomogram exhibited good calibration, indicating the potential of integrating radiomics with semantic imaging to enhance prognostication for PDAC patients.
