A randomized clinical trial revealed that inexperienced clinicians receiving just-in-time coaching achieved a first attempt success rate of 91.4% for infant orotracheal intubation, compared to 81.6% in the control group. This significant difference (odds ratio 2.42, p=0.001) suggests enhanced procedural quality. Additionally, the intervention group reported lower cognitive load and improved competency, supporting the integration of such training approaches into medical practice to enhance patient safety during high-stakes procedures.
