Proximal smoke evacuation significantly enhances laparoscopic surgery visibility

The novel proximal smoke evacuation device demonstrated superior efficacy during laparoscopic procedures, effectively reducing in-screen smoke density by 85.47%. Compared to traditional evacuation methods, it maintained higher image quality and consistent pneumoperitoneum pressure, minimizing surgical interruptions caused by smoke. Analysis from 62 trials conducted by 15 surgeons confirmed these findings, highlighting the device’s ability to improve surgical conditions significantly. This breakthrough represents a promising advancement in surgical safety and effectiveness.
