Radiomics model predicts neoplastic gallbladder polyps accurately.

A new radiomics model utilizing contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) shows promising results for preoperative prediction of neoplastic gallbladder polyps over 10 mm. Analyzed data from 119 patients produced a logistic regression model that demonstrated an AUC of 0.95 in internal validation. This model enhances diagnostic precision, reduces unnecessary surgeries, and improves healthcare resource allocation, ultimately providing tailored treatment plans to patients at risk of gallbladder cancer.
