Between 2019 and 2024, an urban state hospital’s emergency department saw a significant rise in myalgia cases, increasing from 5.01% to 10.29%. The study encompassed over 5 million patient visits, highlighting a notable decline in younger patients, with those aged 0 to 20 years dropping from 48.3% to 15.5%. During the pandemic, suspicious disease diagnoses rose to 24.42%. These findings underscore the need for strategic planning in emergency health services based on emerging trends.
