Surgical data from Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital during the October 2023 conflict highlights over 2000 patients, with traumatic injuries constituting approximately 25% of cases. The most prevalent injuries were penetrating abdominal traumas, which demanded extensive surgical resources. A concerning 50% mortality rate was observed in patients presenting with class 4 hypovolemic shock, alongside a significant rise in infection rates in recent months. The findings underscore an urgent need for global medical intervention and humanitarian support.
