Remote patient monitoring significantly improves wound care outcomes

A systematic review of 51 studies revealed that remote patient monitoring (RPM) is highly effective for wound care, with 93.75% of the analyzed studies showing positive results. The review, covering research from 2008 to 2023, emphasizes the role of RPM in enhancing healthcare quality and decreasing unnecessary hospital visits through efficient online communication between physicians and patients. Future investigations should focus on optimizing RPM strategies for continued advancements in wound care in Pakistan.
