Ultrasound-guided robotic procedures offer significant advantages in general and oncological surgeries, including precise tumor localization, feasibility testing, and comparison with laparoscopic probes. The systematic review of 20 studies highlights the potential of robotic intraoperative ultrasound to support surgeons, reduce procedure times, and improve outcomes in various surgical fields. Robotic instrumentation’s ergonomics and dexterity make it a valuable tool for ultrasound guidance, enhancing surgical precision and efficiency.
