Minimum CA19-9 decrease of ≥40% and optimal decrease of ≥60% after induction chemotherapy are independent predictors for prolonged overall survival in patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer, particularly when CA19-9 levels are elevated at baseline. These thresholds can guide treatment decisions during early response evaluation.
