A retrospective study of 200 patients undergoing laparoscopic robot-assisted Ivor Lewis esophagectomy revealed significant improvements in operative time, blood loss, anastomotic stricture rate, and postoperative length of stay after specific case thresholds. The procedure was shown to be safe, with enhanced outcomes and excellent oncologic results over the course of 100 cases, highlighting the benefits of this minimally invasive approach for esophageal cancer resection.
