Robotic tumor-specific mesorectal resection using a rolling division technique resulted in successful outcomes for rectal cancer patients, with low complication rates, minimal blood loss, and no surgical mortality in the short term. This study reports on the feasibility and reliability of robot-assisted laparoscopic anterior resection, emphasizing the effectiveness of mesorectal division. Overall, the technique proved to be safe and efficient for achieving tumor-specific mesorectal excision in a single institution cohort.
