High intratumoural tertiary lymphoid structure (TLS) score correlated with prolonged survival, while high TLS density in adjacent tissue indicated worse prognosis in combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma. Mature TLSS linked to favorable outcomes with more CD8+ T cell infiltration. TLSS distribution and density can predict prognosis and serve as a potential immunotherapy biomarker. CXCL12 expression in tumor tissue significantly correlated with TLS presence, indicating a promising tool for assessing treatment response.
