Combination Therapy Improves Survival in Early-Onset Pancreatic Cancer

Study on non-metastatic early-onset pancreatic cancer patients showed postoperative survival improvement with adjuvant therapy. Surgery followed by neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapy recommended for locally advanced cases. 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year overall survival rates were 84.3%, 51.5%, and 27.6% respectively. Findings suggest a positive impact of combination therapy including surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy on survival outcomes in non-metastatic early-onset pancreatic cancer patients.
