Improved Survival Prediction in Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma

Preoperative CT radiomics of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and peritumoral tissue enhances survival prediction. Combined with clinical data, the radiomic model achieves equivalent prognostic estimates compared to postoperative pathology. In a study of 215 patients, the addition of radiomic features led to a significant improvement in overall and progression-free survival predictions. Consideration of both portal and arterial phases is crucial for accurate prognostication.
