Novel risk factors for incisional hernia recurrence

Identification of pulmonary ventilation function abnormalities, age over 70, BMI over 27 kg/m2, and porcine small intestine submucosal mesh as independent risk factors for incisional hernia recurrence after open preperitoneal repair.
