Improved Prediction Models for Recurrence in Unresectable HCC Patients

Novel nomograms utilizing multimodal imaging features and clinical data were developed and validated for predicting disease-free survival after TACE-based downstaging therapy followed by surgical resection in unresectable HCC patients. The nomograms outperformed five major staging systems in risk stratification, offering more accurate prognostic information to guide individualized treatment strategies for patients at high risk of postoperative recurrence.
