Long-Duration Neoadjuvant FOLFIRINOX Therapy for Pancreatic Cancer Surgery

Study shows similar survival outcomes in pancreatic cancer patients who undergo surgery after long-duration neoadjuvant FOLFIRINOX therapy, regardless of pretreatment resectability status. The majority received FOLFIRINOX alone without radiation, achieving a 76% R0 resection rate. Median overall survival was 41 months and did not vary by disease stage. This research underscores the potential for favorable surgical outcomes with this unique treatment approach.
