The two-parts wrapping technique significantly reduces postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) and postpancreatectomy hemorrhage (PPH) in laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (LPD). Analyzing data from 172 patients, researchers found lower rates of overall and severe complications, particularly in patients with soft pancreatic textures and smaller duct diameters. Notably, the two-parts wrapping group experienced no instances of severe PPH and shorter hospital stays compared to those undergoing the traditional wrapping method.
