A multicenter analysis revealed that robot-assisted pelvic exenteration (RPE) significantly reduces blood loss, transfusion rates, and postoperative complications compared to open (OPE) and laparoscopic pelvic exenteration (LPE). Specifically, RPE resulted in blood loss of 408 ml versus 2385 ml for OPE, with a transfusion rate of 32% compared to 82% for OPE. Complication rates over Clavien-Dindo grade II were 48% for RPE versus 74% for OPE and 76% for LPE, confirming RPE’s safety and efficacy.
