A prospective multicenter study tracked outcomes in patients with GERD after transoral incisionless fundoplication (TIF 2.0). Clinical success was achieved in 94% of participants, with improvements in GERD-specific health scores for 89% and a normalization of elevated reflux symptom index (RSI) in 85%. Patient satisfaction surged from 8% to 79%, and 80% of patients required no or occasional proton pump inhibitors post-procedure. TIF 2.0 was found to be safe, with no serious adverse events reported.
