Nanovesicles enhance chemosensitivity in cholangiocarcinoma models

Aptamer-decorated milk-derived nanovesicles (mnvs) effectively targeted cholangiocarcinoma (cca) cells, promoting the delivery of short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) that inhibited key gene expressions. This selective uptake led to reduced tumor growth and increased reactive oxygen species production. Notably, the combined treatment with nanovesicles and chemotherapy showed enhanced therapeutic efficacy in both immunocompetent and patient-derived xenograft models. The study highlights a promising strategy to improve treatment options for patients with this aggressive malignancy.
