A study found that enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) nursing interventions significantly improved postoperative outcomes for patients undergoing endoscopic resection of early gastrointestinal tumors. Compared to conventional care, patients in the ERAS group experienced lower complication rates, shorter hospital stays (4.8 vs. 6.3 days), and higher satisfaction and quality of life at three months. The results suggest that integrating ERAS principles into nursing protocols can optimize surgical recovery and patient well-being.
