Impact of Nutritional Support on Prognosis in Critical Surgical Patients

High-risk patients identified by the mnutric score had significantly poorer in-hospital survival rates compared to low-risk patients. Adequate nutritional support was associated with improved prognosis, highlighting the importance of timely intervention in critically ill surgical patients. Inadequate nutritional support and high mnutric scores were significant risk factors for in-hospital mortality, underscoring the need for optimized nutritional strategies in the surgical intensive care setting.
