Prompt identification of malnutrition among hospitalized patients is crucial. A study compared 5 screening tools based on GLIM criteria on 1,397 inpatients. Results showed GMS had highest sensitivity (87.40%) and NRS-2002, highest specificity (91.70%). MST aligned well with GLIM, emphasizing early diagnosis importance. Effective screening tools can improve treatment efficacy.
