Post-pilot modifications increased capture rate to 70.5%. This low-cost electronic registry signifies progress in improving surgical care in under-resourced areas. Strong partnerships and local context are crucial for successful implementation, with ongoing efforts to enhance the registry for improved surgical quality and research output.
