Higher carcinoembryonic antigen levels, recurrence, and lack of surgery are linked to poor survival in colorectal cancer patients in Karachi, Pakistan. Monitoring CEA levels, timely surgical interventions, and follow-up care for recurrent cases can enhance survival outcomes. Early-onset colorectal cancer cases (<50 years old) were more prevalent than expected. These findings underscore the importance of addressing prognostic factors to improve survival rates among colorectal cancer patients.
