Preoperative laboratory data indicators, including the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and prognostic nutritional index (PNI), were found to significantly impact overall survival in patients with postoperative staged T3N0M0 esophageal carcinoma. These indicators, along with the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR), were identified as independent predictors of prognosis. Combining SII and PNI improved the accuracy of predicting patient outcomes, highlighting their potential prognostic value in clinical practice.
