Novel technologies and opportunities in surgical education can improve effectiveness and efficiency. Recommendations include establishing a multidisciplinary oversight body and personalized educational programs. Consensus on implementing these technologies was high. Advancements in technology-based assessment and data analytics have the potential to elevate the quality of surgical education and alleviate the burden on clinical faculty.
